Virtualization Support Engineer – Level 1

As a Virtualization Support Engineer, you will provide first-level monitoring and troubleshoot cloud service anomalies. In addition to interfacing with customers during service calls, this person will coordinate repair with field service personnel.


  • Monitoring RMM and other tool information and alerts
  • Customer support calls
  • First level troubleshooting
  • Moves, adds, and changes
  • Internal and external escalations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years in network monitoring or service desk position
  • 1-2 years of experience with Windows or Linux server administration
  • Some network experience a definite plus
  • Exposure to VMWare or virtual machines a plus
  • General knowledge of networking and server and desktop support and administration
  • Some Voice over IP(VoIP) experience preferred
  • Hands on experience with ticket or service desk systems
  • Good people /customer skills
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008 or greater, Linux Server
  • College degree or equivalent training experience
