See inside Evolve IP’s Cloud Computing Services

Walk -in the cloud- at VMworld - new
August 15, 2017 / Evolve IP

Evolve IP is excited to announce that our cloud computing services will be on display for attendees of VMworld. Guests will be able to “walk inside the cloud” at VMworld 2017 as Evolve IP is partnering with Veeam Software, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Nimble Storage (a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company), and VMware to invite attendees of VMworld to a free and exclusive tour of the world-leading Switch datacenter in Las Vegas. Switch is the home for Evolve IP’s OneCloud™ infrastructure which provides a secure, compliant (HIPAA/PCI), and reliable hosting environment for Evolve IP’s full suite of cloud communications and cloud computing services. See first-hand why “cloud as a strategy” is our strength and our focus. Space is limited so VMworld attendees should register now to reserve your spot by visiting the registration page link here.

The same tour was conducted at the HPE Discover conference in June and the attendees were thoroughly impressed. Switch offers the perfect environment for cloud computing services because the Las Vegas facility is the largest, most efficient, and most highly-rated data center ecosystem in the world. The 2-hour tour experience began with a classroom session that explained how many patents and technology advancements were engineered into the facility. Then we were guided on a walking tour which included a fascinating look at Switch’s unique business continuity features including power generation, internet connectivity, and physical security innovations.

OneCloud™ is core to Evolve IP’s cloud computing services. OneCloud™ is built on a best-of-breed cloud strategy powered by VMware virtualization software, Nimble predictive flash storage arrays, HPE servers, and Veeam Backup and Replication technologies. It provides a single, unified, and resilient infrastructure upon which Evolve IP offers an unmatched range of cloud communications and computing solutions.

Switch has 260 patent and patent pending claims, many of which are on display during the tour. The upcoming tour will demonstrate behind-the-scenes operations and efficiencies supporting our cloud computing services, and illustrate why Switch is the first and only facility in North America with a Tier IV (four) Design and Facility Certifications from the Uptime Institute. Switch’s data center and telecommunication technology and services are praised as Tier “Elite” – which means it is ‘above and beyond’ the current tier rating approach. In essence, this makes Switch the world’s first Tier 5 data center. This same facility provides security, power and cooling for stacks of thousands of servers owned by more than 1,000 clients that include eBay, Xerox, Zappos, Amazon, DreamWorks, Shutterfly and the U.S. government.

Switch is the ultimate data center for cloud computing services because of its unique security, availability, and performance.

  • Up to 2.4 million square feet of Tier IV Gold data center space
  • Up to 325 MW of power, with 100% Uptime Guaranteed
  • 100% renewable energy used to power facilities
